Harmonic Farms was born from a love story, but not just between two people. It was between two people and a place. Decades ago, Joe and Christy Reece found themselves swept into the rhythms of Costa Rica: the warmth of its people, the wildness of its landscapes, the simple, soul-deep joy of living close to the earth. What started as an escape quickly became a lifelong passion, and eventually, a vision. They dreamed of creating a sanctuary where others could experience the country the way they first did: authentically, wholeheartedly, and without pretense.

Every corner of the 60* acres that is Harmonic Farms reflects that intention. The architecture leans into the tradition and terrain rather than resisting it. The gastronomy honors the land, celebrating ingredients grown mere steps away and flavors that trace generations of Costa Rican culinary heritage. The experiences offered aren’t manufactured “activities,” but living, breathing encounters with the culture, the environment, and the community that shaped this place long before it was a destination.
